Bullying Prevention Resource
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. OhioMHAS is proud to support our colleagues at the Ohio Department of Education in sharing bullying prevention resources. This week’s resource is a Plan for School-wide Safety, a publication that outlines what schools should do to prevent and address further incidents of harassment, intimidation and bullying (including teen dating violence, cyber bullying, bullying on the school bus and/or human trafficking).
This resource will assist school staff, parents and community professionals in aligning bullying prevention activities with the four tenants of school safety:
- Prevent
- Prepare
- Respond
- Recover
